Cognex Corporation, a leader in industrial machine vision, has joined the OSARO Partners Alliance, a collaboration of expertise aimed at enhancing automation solutions for customers. This collaboration involves integrating Cognex’s DataMan fixed-mount, image-based barcode readers into the OSARO Robotic Bagging System.
This integration was successfully demonstrated at Zenni Optical, where the system overcame a challenge in reading barcodes through translucent eyeglass cases. The Cognex barcode readers achieved 99% accuracy and read rates, significantly increasing throughput. This partnership is part of OSARO’s strategy to deploy optimal solutions to its customers, addressing challenges in the e-commerce and logistics sectors.
