MachineQ

Comcast’s subsidiary, MachineQ, has expanded its Indoor Asset Tracking IoT solution with the introduction of new asset tracking tags and a space utilization solution. The company’s real-time location system (RTLS) now includes a range of active asset tags, such as Nano RT, Nano LP, Dura ET, Dura PT, and Dura AC, designed to meet various tracking requirements, from small handheld assets to durable tags for harsh environments.

The Nano RT and Nano LP tags stand out for their unique features and capabilities in a compact form factor. For instance, the Nano RT, one of the smallest tags, offers up to 8+ years of battery life and features a remotely triggered LED for locating items in dense environments. The Nano LP boasts an ultra-slim form factor and provides up to 2+ years of battery life, making it ideal for tracking handheld assets without affecting their ergonomics.

Additionally, MachineQ has added a space utilization solution that uses privacy-centric sensors to count the number of people in a room, offering valuable data for facility managers to optimize space allocation, resource distribution, and operational efficiency. This data-driven approach helps organizations in various sectors, such as life sciences, to identify underutilized spaces, optimize budgets, and improve asset management.

Steven Corbesero, Jr., director of product and solutions at MachineQ, expressed excitement about expanding their product range to cater to evolving customer needs. The new solutions help organizations monitor their operations in real-time, make data-driven decisions, and enhance overall operational safety and efficiency. By leveraging the IoT network connectivity platform, customers can maximize the value of their investments and remotely track asset health.

With these additions, MachineQ aims to offer a comprehensive and cost-effective IoT solution for asset tracking and space utilization, benefiting enterprises across diverse industries.
