HATCH

In support of Hunger Action Month, nonprofit organization HATCH, in collaboration with the American Egg Board, is donating 36 cold storage coolers to food pantries in 16 states across the U.S. These coolers aim to address the lack of proper storage infrastructure for essential protein-rich items like eggs, meat, and fresh produce.

With a capacity of up to 2,000 pounds of food, these coolers will help improve the accessibility of nutritious animal protein products for families in need. The initiative seeks to bridge the 500 million pound protein gap faced by food pantries and contribute to a healthier diet for those facing food insecurity.
