Holiday Shopping Study: Streaming TV Ads Surpass Mobile Ads for Informing Holiday Purchases

According to a new study by LG Ad Solutions, streaming TV ads are now more influential for informing holiday purchases compared to mobile ads, with 39% of consumers finding streaming ads helpful, compared to 28% for mobile ads. This represents a significant increase from the previous year.

The study also highlights that streaming is the top method for watching holiday content, with 54% of respondents engaging in this activity during the season. Furthermore, 76% of consumers plan to spend the same or more on holiday purchases compared to the previous year, with 30% starting their shopping in October or earlier. The study surveyed over 800 U.S. consumers to gather insights into holiday TV content and shopping habits.
