In the realm of domestic violence, 60 shelters were granted $20,000 each, amounting to $1.2 million, to bolster essential services, facility enhancements, legal aid, counseling, and more. These resources are critical in aiding women and children on their path to freedom from abuse.
Additionally, the Foundation bestowed 12 cancer research grants, also totaling $1.2 million, to support groundbreaking studies aimed at improving detection, prognosis, and treatment options for cancers predominantly affecting women.
