Orita.ai Secures Funding from Top-Tier Investors in AI, Commerce, and Marketing

New York, NY — September 10, 2024 — Orita.ai, a groundbreaking AI-driven email optimization platform, today announced the successful completion of its pre-seed funding round. The round was backed by prominent VCs and angel investors from the commerce, marketing, and AI sectors.

Orita helps leading commerce brands like Caraway, Psycho Bunny, Tracksmith, Huron and Immi optimize their email lists. While the current best practice is to “clean” an email list every quarter, Orita flips that process on its head to help brands optimize their lists on a daily basis. One advantage for Orita is that they’re close partners with some of the top retention marketing agencies including AMB Interactive, Roswell Studios, BMO Media, and Sticky Digital.

The pre-seed round includes investments from renowned venture capital firms such as Sugar Capital, Recursive Ventures, Phenomenal Ventures, Javelin Venture Partners and Bee Partners, among others. These strategic partners bring not only capital but also deep expertise and networks that support Orita’s ambitious mission to leverage machine learning in enhancing marketing technology efficiency. Other notable investors and advisors from the commerce space include Hannah Bravo, CEO of Loop Returns; Kyle Hency, CEO of GoodDay Software; Daphne Carmeli, founder of Deliv and ex-Target exec; Nadya Kohl, ex-Experian marketing exec; and John Burbank, former President of Nielsen.

“We are excited to have the support of such experienced and visionary investors,” said Daniel Brady, Ph.D., CEO and Co-Founder of Orita.ai. “This funding will accelerate our product development. Orita’s mission is to help companies leverage Machine Learning to get the most out of their proprietary data. We’ve surpassed 100 customers in the last 6 months by driving profitable growth for brands; this funding will allow us to deepen our bench of Machine Learning Engineers and push the product roadmap forward while integrating with more industry-leading platforms like Iterable, Braze, Attentive, and Yotpo.”

Since its founding in late 2023, Orita.ai has quickly gained traction, developing innovative solutions that help ecommerce brands automate email decisioning, driving stronger deliverability metrics, capturing found revenue, and more efficiently and effectively reaching customers. With this fresh infusion of capital, Orita plans to scale its product suite and expand its customer base across key channels, including SMS and Direct Mail.

“Partnering with Orita allows agencies to enhance email deliverability for its clients,” says Josh Behr, CEO of AMB Interactive. “Orita’s advanced technology identifies real engagement, filters out bots, and adapts to evolving privacy standards. This improves marketing performance, reduces costs, and provides peace of mind, making Orita a key recommendation for my clients.”

Orita’s seed round represents a significant milestone in the ML commerce ecosystem. As Orita continues to develop new products that provide marketers with the tools to better understand and connect with their existing and growing customer base, they create a pathway to enhancing marketers’ scope through the combination of artificial intelligence with business best practices.
