Panera Bread has announced the nationwide launch of Drive-Thru Pick-Up, a new service that combines the convenience of digital ordering with the ease of the drive-thru experience. Customers can now select the Drive-Thru Pick-Up option when ordering ahead on the Panera app or website, allowing them to retrieve their orders at the drive-thru window without leaving their vehicles. To celebrate the national launch, Panera is offering MyPanera members a $5 discount on orders of $15 or more placed through Drive-Thru Pick-Up during the promotional period from June 1 to June 30.
With digital sales accounting for over 50 percent of Panera’s total system sales, the company aims to meet the growing demand for convenient and customizable ordering options. By introducing Drive-Thru Pick-Up, Panera seeks to provide a faster and more convenient way for customers to pick up their favorite meals. Guests who order ahead simply need to announce their names at the drive-thru speaker and proceed to the window for a seamless pick-up experience.
Chris Correnti, Senior Vice President of Channels and Guest Experience at Panera Bread, highlighted the company’s commitment to enhancing the digital guest experience. Panera has continuously invested in various ordering and delivery methods, including in-cafe kiosks, Rapid Pick-Up, Contactless Dine-In, and now Drive-Thru Pick-Up. The Panera app has been highly rated, and its loyalty program, MyPanera, boasts over 53 million members.
To take advantage of the Drive-Thru Pick-Up promotion in June, customers must be MyPanera members. The loyalty program offers personalized rewards, surprise special offers, birthday rewards, and more. Interested individuals can sign up for MyPanera on the Panera Bread website.
