RJW Logistics Group

WOODRIDGE, IL (September 18, 2023) – RJW Logistics Group, a leading provider of retail logistics solutions for consumer-packaged goods companies, announced today that Naysa Aparicio-Hernandez, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Jennifer Shorkey, EVP of Strategic Partnerships, have received the 2023 Women in Supply Chain Award from Supply & Demand Chain Executive. This prestigious award recognizes female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship and examples set a foundation for women in all levels of the supply chain network.

Aparicio-Hernandez has led RJW’s human resources initiatives for over six years, during which time her significant contributions have supported substantial company growth from 300 employees to over 2,000 today. From a complete restructure of the HR department to embracing new technology and achieving profitable business operational goals, Naysa has played an integral role in promoting honest and truthful hiring practices to bring on the best-of-the-best in talent recruitment. Prior to RJW, Naysa held several senior leadership positions across the IT consultancy and transportation logistics industries. Most recently, Naysa co-authored “Latinas Rising Up in HR,” an autobiographical book that showcases stories of aspiring Latina HR professionals who have overcome obstacles to achieve their dreams in corporate America.

As a 24-year Walmart alum, Shorkey has brought her vast knowledge and industry experience to RJW’s internal teams and supplier network to broaden the understanding and execution of supply chain compliance requirements. With a focus on customer service and excellence, her diverse team of compliance experts continue to help RJW customers meet and exceed retailer requirements. Jennifer has had an extensive career overseeing various supply chain roles for the nation’s largest retailer, Walmart, with expertise in customer service, inventory management, SQEP, process standardization and continuous supply chain improvement. Citing the importance of “one-on-one contact”, Jennifer focuses on supporting and mentoring her team and educating the next generation of women looking to follow in her footsteps.

“Naysa and Jennifer’s exceptional leadership, innovation and dedication have not only contributed to the advancement of the supply chain industry, but continue to elevate RJW’s value to our customers and employees,” said Condy Dixon, COO. “This award is a testament to Naysa and Jennifer’s unwavering commitment to excellence. It’s a pleasure to work with both of these executives and watch them pave the way for future supply chain leaders.”
