Bloomin’ Brands, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLMN) has announced a significant promotion within its ranks. Sheilina Henry will be taking on the role of president of Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, one of the company’s fine dining brands known for its exceptional prime steak offerings and curated wine dinners. In this new position, Henry will spearhead operations and development for the upscale restaurant brand.

David Deno, CEO of Bloomin’ Brands, expressed confidence in Henry’s capabilities, citing her extensive background in restaurant operations and her unwavering commitment to excellence. He believes that her leadership will have a meaningful impact on the Fleming’s brand. Deno also highlighted the company’s focus on new restaurant growth, noting the recent groundbreaking of a flagship location near the Restaurant Support Center in Tampa.

Henry’s journey within the company has been marked by remarkable progression. With over two decades of experience in restaurant operations, training, and project management, she first joined Bloomin’ Brands in 2012 as an Outback Steakhouse Joint Venture Partner. Since then, she has steadily climbed the ranks, holding various leadership positions, including vice president of training and development in 2016, regional vice president of operations in 2019, and group vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion in 2020. Most recently, she took on additional responsibilities as senior vice president, overseeing Off-Premises Dining.

To complement her vast experience, Henry holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and an MBA from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.

With Sheilina Henry at the helm, Bloomin’ Brands is poised to steer Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar toward continued success and expansion, further solidifying its position as a top destination for fine dining enthusiasts.
