Richard Parker has been promoted to the position of Managing Director of Skechers for the UK and Ireland.
The footwear industry veteran has spent over two decades with the brand and has been instrumental in its growth to a leading position in the UK market. David Weinberg, the COO of Skechers, noted that the UK business was a key contributor to the record growth of 60% of total sales to $7.4 billion in 2022.
In his new position, Parker is expected to drive further growth, building on the foundation created by his predecessor, Peter Youell, who has moved into an advisor role on key international projects.
Skechers designs, develops and markets lifestyle and performance footwear, apparel and accessories for men, women and children, available in over 180 countries and territories.
