US Foods Holding Corp. (NYSE: USFD) has completed the acquisition of Renzi Foodservice, a broadline distributor located in Watertown, New York. The transaction closed on July 7, 2023.

The acquisition enables US Foods to further expand its reach into central upstate New York, where the company does not have a distribution center. Renzi Foodservice has been in business for over 50 years and has a strong customer base in the region.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

This is the latest in a series of acquisitions by US Foods in recent years. In 2021, the company acquired Sysco Canada and Performance Food Group. These acquisitions have helped US Foods to expand its reach and become a more dominant player in the foodservice distribution industry.
