The Navy aims to streamline its internal mail delivery process and improve convenience for sailors by implementing Pitney Bowes ParcelPoint Smart Lockers. These intelligent lockers will provide sailors with access to secure mailboxes 24/7 and offer a fully automated system that sends email alerts when a package is ready for pick-up. The contactless delivery and pickup feature of the smart lockers ensures the safety of staff and recipients.
