Wakefern Expands In-Store Retail Media with Freeosk

Wakefern Food Corp., the largest retailer-owned cooperative in the US, is expanding its use of Freeosk’s interactive multimedia sampling kiosks for in-store retail media activation.

Following a successful pilot, Freeosk units will be placed in 95 ShopRite and The Fresh Grocer stores, transforming the spaces into discovery destinations for new products and categories. Freeosk campaigns have historically generated over 50% sales lift, with 70% of buyers being new to the brand. The kiosks combine in-store sampling, merchandising, and digital media to inspire shopper engagement and trial.

Wakefern aims to lower barriers to entry for products and attract new users to the category while capturing shopper activity and providing transparent measurement and retail media opportunities. Freeosk enables seamless in-store retail media programs that drive brand adoption and loyalty.
