In observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Winn-Dixie is collaborating with the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer through an in-store community donation program. Until Oct. 31, shoppers at Winn-Dixie stores in several states are encouraged to contribute $1, donate $5, or round up their bills to support breast cancer patients and families, advance research, and promote early detection.
Breast cancer affects one in eight women in their lifetime, and Winn-Dixie aims to make a positive impact in the fight against the disease. Since partnering, the grocer has donated over $1.4 million to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
