Publix in Food Recycling Deal

Publix expects to divert about 17,000 tons of food scraps away from landfills and turn it over to a firm named Organic Recovery that will recycle it into something useful such as fertilizer. Organic Recovery also takes leftover grease from Publix to turn into the biodiesel that powers its trucks.
