National Burrito Day Just Got Better — QDOBA’s BOGO Deal Is Back

March 28, 2025

QDOBA is celebrating “National Burrito Day” with a fabulous, hunger-busting BOGO deal.

For one day only, QDOBA rewards members will receive a free entrée with the purchase of any entrée and a drink. And there’s a good reason why the Mexican fast-casual restaurant is offering such a wallet-friendly deal to its customers as “burrito insurance.”

Per a press release, the eatery conducted an independent survey of 1,000 Gen Z burrito lovers. It uncovered some surprising data.

QDOBA’s survey revealed that 78% of customers would keep a free burrito rather than share. They added that 66% of customers polled are none too pleased when someone asks to taste their burrito. The study deduced that 80% of Gen Zers admit to being able to eat burritos multiple times a week. Finally, QDOBA also found that 85% of Gen Zers admit to experiencing food envy when they see someone else’s meal.

QDOBA’s survey also indicated:

  • 85% say queso and/or guacamole — free on any QDOBA entrée — is their favorite burrito topping.
  • 66% would pick up a burrito on a first date.
  • Nearly half (49%) of Gen Zers opted for burritos for lunch, followed by 39% for dinner.
  • Most (57%) enjoy burritos while in the comfort of their own home, with 26% electing to eat them on the couch.

“With our Burrito Insurance promotion, QDOBA ensures our guests can enjoy their favorite burritos without worry on National Burrito Day,” explained Jon Burke, VP of Digital and National Media at QDOBA. “And we love finding new and unique ways to bring more value and flavor to our QDOBA rewards members.”

Redeeming is easy. First, sign up for QDOBA Rewards or download the QDOBA app to join. Then, check your rewards wallet on Apr. 3. The chain will automatically add a free entrée with the purchase of an entrée and drink reward on National Burrito Day.

QDOBA’s BOGO Burritos are available only on Apr. 3. QDOBA Rewards members can visit participating QDOBA locations to claim their free burrito with any purchase of any entrée and a drink. The BOGO offer is not valid concerning quesadillas. The offer is only valid on orders placed and fulfilled on Apr. 3, and is limited to one per customer.

QDOBA Doesn’t Charge More For Queso and Guacamole

QDOBA is a solid choice among fast-casual restaurants for customers interested in fresh, flavorful, and customizable Mexican-inspired food. The chain generally emphasizes a wide menu variety and features like free queso and guacamole.

One of QDOBA’s biggest strengths is its build-your-own approach. Customers can load up on proteins, fresh veggies, sauces, and toppings without extra charges for guac or queso, per its website. The chain offers a variety of proteins, including grilled adobo chicken, steak, pulled pork, and even plant-based options like Impossible Meat.
