Real estate deals could be sign that NYC retail is coming back

Foot traffic to the Times Square area of New York City has been increasing in recent months, although it is still behind pre-pandemic levels. That didn't deter Paramount Group, a real estate investment trust, from agreeing to pay more than $190 million to acquire the space at 1600 Broadway, home to the M&M’s World store.
