Recession Pronounced Officially Over

The Great Recession came to an end in June of 2009, according to the National Bureau of Economic Research. While unemployment remains high, there may be some hope in that job losses hit a low point six months after the end of this recession versus 21 months after the recession that began during the Bush administration.
