Red Lobster Customers Can Sip and Snack During New Happy Hour Featuring $5 Drinks and $2 Off Starters

The holiday season just got a bit more festive at Red Lobster, which has launched a Happy Hour with $5 drink specials and $2 off starters.
The legendary seafood restaurant debuted the new mealtime deals on Dec. 2, just in time for customers to enjoy the season with friends and family. The promotion will help fill customer’s bellies while lightening up their wallets.
According to a press release, Red Lobster patrons can choose from a variety of cocktails, beer, and wine for just $5 Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. local time. The restaurant’s selections include a Classic Margarita, Top-Shelf Long Island Iced Tea, Tito’s Twisted Strawberry Lemonade, a 14-ounce Blue Moon Draft, a 14-ounce Bud Light Draft, a 6-ounce Mark West Pinot Noir, and a 6-ounce Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio.
Along with a cheaper cocktail, customers can get $2 off select appetizers, specifically the Lobster Flatbread, Seafood-Stuffed Mushrooms, Crab Queso, Lobster Dip, and Mozzarella Cheesesticks.
Nichole Robillard, chief marketing officer at Red Lobster, said in the press release, “With the launch of Red Lobster’s new happy hour, guests can enjoy great deals on our signature appetizers and refreshing drinks every weekday. It’s the perfect way to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the busy holiday season and spend time with friends and family, or just treat yourself to some well-deserved fun!”
Pair Red Lobster’s Happy Hour With New Entrees for a Complete Meal
Along with Red Lobster’s newest Happy Hour promotion, the restaurant chain debuted a new menu in November. This includes seven new dishes: Lobster Pappardelle Pasta, Bacon Wrapped Sea Scallops, Lobster Bisque, Lemon Basil Mahi, Simply Prepared Mahi, Parmesan-Crusted Chicken, and Roasted Asparagus.
A press release announcement stated “Fan-favorites like Popcorn Shrimp and Hush Puppies are back on the menu and ready to delight taste buds once again. The excitement doesn’t end there. Red Lobster is now giving guests the ability to customize their seafood favorites with the launch of Create Your Own Ultimate Feast. Guests can mix and match two premium picks — like Maine Lobster Tail or Snow Crab Legs — with two classics, such as Walt’s Favorite Shrimp and Garlic Shrimp Scampi, for a seafood experience that’s truly their own.”
“We’re thrilled to give our guests more reasons to celebrate this season with the launch of our new menu,” said Robillard at the time. “From mouthwatering new dishes and the return of beloved fan favorites to holiday-inspired sips and unlimited Cheddar Bay Biscuits, there’s something for everyone. Red Lobster’s comeback promotions to drive customer interest in its restaurants comes after a May announcement that the company closed 99 of its locations across 28 states. The company subsequently filed for a Chapter 11 reorganization plan, and Damola Adamolekun was announced as the company’s new CEO, who promised to revitalize the faltering brand.
