Red Robin Celebrates National Cheeseburger Day With $10 Deal. Here’s What’s Included

September 17, 2024

Red Robin has announced that it will be participating in the popular National Cheeseburger Day promotion. The casual dining restaurant is offering a $10 deal for its customers. Let’s take a look at what’s included in the deal.

Red Robin: National Cheeseburger Day Promotion

From Tuesday, Sept. 17, to Thursday, Sept. 19, Red Robin is offering customers $10 Red Robin Gourmet Cheeseburgers with a bottomless side to celebrate National Cheeseburger Day. The limited-time offer will be available exclusively to dine-in customers at participating locations.

As revealed on the company’s website, Red Robin is only making the promotion available for its Gourmet Cheeseburger (perhaps appropriately, given that the holiday celebrates cheeseburgers). However, the promotion also comes with Red Robin’s signature Bottomless Side, allowing you to choose a refillable side from options like steak fries, Yukon chips, sweet potato fries, and broccoli.

What’s more, Red Robin customers are encouraged to join the Royalty program, where they can earn points with every purchase. It’s free to join, and the promotions will be available long after the National Cheeseburger Day deal is gone.

It’s worth noting that Red Robin will charge an additional fee for add-ons and other modifications to the burger, and taxes and gratuities aren’t included in the price. To-go orders, catering orders, delivery orders, and orders placed through third-party apps (such as DoorDash and Uber Eats) are not eligible for the promotion.

Other Promotions

Red Robin is just the latest restaurant that has announced its participation in the National Cheeseburger Day foodie holiday, which was first celebrated in the 1920s.

On Monday, Sept. 16, Burger King announced its week-long promotion for the foodie celebration. Members of Royal Perks will receive a complimentary cheeseburger from Burger King. In addition to the promotion on National Cheeseburger Day, the company is providing a full week of delectable freebies, all of which are valid with a purchase of $1 or more:

  • Sept. 16: Free Whopper Jr.
  • Sept. 17: Free Original Chicken Sandwich
  • Sept. 18: On National Cheeseburger Day, burger lovers can get a free flame-grilled cheeseburger
  • Sept. 19: Free four-piece Mozzarella Fries
  • Sept. 20: Free Croissan’wich
  • Sept. 21: Free four-piece Chicken Fries
  • Sept. 22: Free soft drink (any size)

On Sept. 29, Burger King Royal Perks members can also enjoy a $1 coffee of any size to celebrate National Coffee Day.

Additionally, Burger King has become the official restaurant of the Mexican soccer teams in the United States. The fast-food giant has been named the teams’ official quick-service restaurant, and it will work with them during their competitions in the MexTour W for women and MexTour for men.

In an official press release, Burger King stated, “The Federación Mexicana de Fútbol (FMF) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM), the commercial arm and partner of Mexico’s annual U.S. Tour for more than two decades, today announced a multi-year partnership with the Burger King brand in the United States.”

Through this partnership, Burger King will strengthen the devoted followers of the Mexican National Teams by fusing fan experiences with conspicuous in-venue signage. The massive fast-food chain will also launch a special match-day lunch specially designed just for MexTour matches.

“Few things rival the passion that Burger King has for serving up delicious flame-grilled sandwiches, so we couldn’t be more thrilled to be sponsoring the Mexican National Teams and to help fuel its passionate and devoted fans,” said Pat O’Toole, chief marketing officer at Burger King North America, in a statement. “We look forward to celebrating all of the exciting moments over the next several years alongside the MNT and its fans with delicious gameday offers, special experiences, and much more.”
