Remember when retailers were afraid of shoppers with phones?

It wasn't all that long ago that brick and mortar retailers were huddling to figure out ways to block their shoppers from using their phones in-store to "showroom" (i.e., use the store as a showroom for online ordering), but the industry has come so far. Retail chains are now tripping over each other to provide consumers with more product information, "endless-aisle" ordering and digital payments via their phones. And yet a number of nagging problems stand in the way of customer satisfaction.
