Restaurants want to stay outdoors permanently

Restaurant owners are making a push in communities across the U.S. to have outdoor dining structures zoned for permanent use. Some oppose the measure, taken in response to indoor restrictions connected to the COVID-19 heath threat, because it reduces available parking spaces and disrupts some non-restaurant businesses.
