Retailers counting on Biden administration to help them out

The novel coronavirus pandemic has led to a record number of store closures and retail company bankruptcies this year with prospects for a return to normalcy months away. Even with promising vaccines on the way, many retailers worry that they may not be able to hold out without government assistance. Many of those are hoping that President-elect Joe Biden will be able to push through programs to give them the business lifeline they need.
