Retailers pursue try-on tech to reduce clothing returns

A lack of standardized sizes and open fitting rooms has led to record returns of clothing since the novel coronavirus pandemic hit the U.S. Retailers including Walmart are now moving into virtual fitting room technology in an effort to improve the customer experience and reduce the high cost of processing returns.
