Retail's share of GDP grew in 2013

New research from eMarketer finds that retail accounted for 27 percent of the nation's gross domestic product in 2013, up from 26.8 percent in 2012. While overall retail sales grew four percent for the year, e-commerce revenues were up 16.9 percent.
