Safeway Announces Exec Changes

Tom Schwilke, president of Safeway's Texas division, has been named president and general manager, perishables as part of the corporate merchandising team. Paul McTavish, the current vice president, retail marketing execution for Safeway's division in Denver will take charge over for Mr. Schwilke in Texas.
