Sears Holdings' Profit Down 55 Percent

Excluding non-recurring costs, many associated with store closings, Sears Holdings reported that it would have earned $2.94 a share in the last quarter. Overall, U.S. same-store sales dropped 8.3; 11 percent at Sears and 5 percent at Kmart.
