SEC: Former Kmart CEO Should Pay for Misleading Investors

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has asked a U.S. District Court to order former Kmart CEO Charles Conaway to pay $22.6 million for "intentionally lying, and causing others to lie, about Kmart's financial condition" before the chain filed for bankruptcy in 2002.
