July 31, 2023
Chick-fil-A is introducing two new restaurant designs, one in Atlanta and the other in New York City, to cater to its growing digital business. The Atlanta concept features an elevated building with four drive-thru lanes flowing below, accommodating up to 75 cars and having twice the kitchen capacity of a traditional restaurant. The New York City concept is a digital-focused walk-up store without cashiers, designed for mobile customers, with no cash registers or drink towers, emphasizing digital ordering and convenience as digital orders account for over half of total sales in certain markets.
