Senate to investigate Amazon's warehouse safety practices

The Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, has launched a website asking Amazon.com warehouse workers to share their stories as it investigates the retail and logistics giant's workplace safety practices. Senator Bernie Sanders, who chairs the committee, wrote a letter to Amazon CEO Andy Jassy, calling labor conditions at the company warehouses "uniquely dangerous." Amazon said it has cut workplace injuries by 23 percent since 2019.
