Share the Luck With St. Patrick’s Day Doughnuts at Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme wants its customers to share the luck of the Irish on St. Patrick’s Day by offering a free original glazed doughnut to customers wearing green between March 15 and 17. They are also preparing to tickle the taste buds of their patrons by offering a series of new holiday-themed doughnuts.

For a limited time at participating shops across the U.S., customers can enjoy St. Patrick’s Day doughnuts at the bakery retailer. The following tasty treats are in limited release (per Krispy Kreme).

Beginning March 11, Krispy Kreme brings back the famous O’riginal Glazed Doughnut — an Original Glazed Doughnut gone green. Also available is the Luck of the Rainbow Doughnut. This is an original glazed doughnut dipped in green icing with a rainbow explosion sprinkle blend topped with a buttercream cloud.

Other tasty treats in tune with the holiday are Shamrock Cookies ‘N Kreme. This is an unglazed doughnut shell filled with Cookies & Kreme filling made with Oreo cookies, dipped in white icing with green drizzles and St. Patrick’s fusion sprinkles.

Plaid Party Doughnuts are also included in the limited offerings. This is an unglazed shell filled with white Kreme filling, dipped in chocolate icing, and drizzled with green icing.

The final addition to the holiday lineup is a Shooting Shamrock Doughnut. This original glazed treat is dipped in light green icing with a green icing swirl topped with a shamrock sugar piece.

“Luck is meant to be shared, and our colorful, fun, all-new St. Patrick’s Day doughnuts will make everyone feel like they’ve found a pot of gold,” said Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme.
