E-commerce giant Shopify is making an investment in the wholesale platform, Faire, in a global partnership that will see Faire integrating Shopify technology for its clientele. Faire, valued at $12.59 billion, will be endorsed as the recommended wholesale marketplace for Shopify merchants, although financial details of the deal remain undisclosed. This collaboration aims to facilitate Shopify merchants in connecting with wholesale buyers and allow retailers access to Faire’s network of brands.
