Eddy Lu, cofounder and CEO of the online marketplace, GOAT, said that that the platform’s sneaker sales got off to a strong start over the Black Friday weekend. “Black Friday really kick-starts our holiday season, and this year has been no different in terms of the size and how big it’s been … I mean our Black Friday is the sneaker event of the holiday season; this year was no different,” said Mr. Lu.
