SoCal workers and grocery chains avert strike

Members of the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union 770 have reached a tentative agreement with grocery chains in Southern California to avert a strike. The deal includes pay increases, guaranteed hours for part-timers, stronger health benefits and a secured pension.
