Sony, Microsoft gaming networks knocked offline

A hackers group calling itself the Lizard Squad is claiming responsibility for spiking traffic that caused a 3-day disruption to Sony's PlayStation Network over the holiday weekend. Separately, Microsoft's Xbox Live service also experienced problems.
