Spartan Closing DC, Cutting Support Staff

Spartan Stores plans to close a dry grocery warehouse as part of a plan to consolidate distribution activities. The grocery wholesaler and retailer said it would also eliminate roughly 25 administrative support positions in an effort to reduce annual expenditures by up to $3 million.
