Sporting goods retailers see big jumps in store and online sales

Credit card purchases at sporting goods retailers were up 28 percent in stores and 210 percent online for the week ending Nov. 27, according to Facteus. Other verticals that saw gains in both digital and physical sales were discounters, electronics and men’s and women’s clothing.
