Staples releases details of Aug/Sept data breach

Updating information on a previously reported data security breach, Staples said "criminals deployed malware to some point-of-sale systems at 115 of its ... retail stores" that may have given hackers access to "cardholder names, payment card numbers, expiration dates, and card verification codes."
