Starbucks Unveils Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte on Fall Menu

Starbucks has unveiled its latest contribution to its beloved fall menu, revealing the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte to coffee devotees.

In a press release announcement, it was revealed that the smooth, exquisitely balanced aromas of Blonde Espresso combine with pecan flavors, baking spices, and rich brown buttery notes to create the fall-inspired Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte.

Lead beverage developer, Patrick Penny, said the team interviewed over 40 baristas and store managers nationwide to come up with suggestions for a new holiday beverage. That’s when the concept of a pecan drink originated.

“We were really focused on what people are thinking, feeling, and doing during the holidays,” Penny said in a statement accompanying the press release. “We asked questions like, where are you going? What inspires joy? How could Starbucks play a role in uplifting your day during the season?”

Penny and the crew tested numerous recipes before settling on a completely dairy-free formula for the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte. This drink has a nutty aroma and taste, paired with savory overtones of brown butter that accentuate the aromas of Blonde Espresso. The hot version has a creamy oatmilk foam topping, while the iced form has a nondairy vanilla sweet cream cold foam. A final drizzle of salty and sweet pecan crunch topping completes both versions.

A New Addition to the Starbucks Fall Menu

The fall menu, which was announced back in August, is one of the most popular menus of the year for the international coffee giant.

In addition to the new Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte, Starbucks also introduced the Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai for the first time this year. It contains creamy oatmilk, warming spice flavors of chai, and nondairy apple crisp cold foam that will bring to mind a homemade apple pie.

The beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte is back, having celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023. The drink includes pumpkin, Starbucks Signature Espresso, steamed milk, cloves, nutmeg, and cinnamon, according to Starbucks. Customers can choose to have their drink blended, iced, or hot and topped with pumpkin pie spices and whipped cream.

Additionally, the company makes a Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew using cold brew that has been sweetened with vanilla syrup, pumpkin cream cold foam, and a sprinkling of pumpkin spice. After a great debut last year, the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai is also back for those who prefer some extra spiciness in their drink. The drink has a pumpkin cream cold foam, a pumpkin spice topping, and spiced chai overtones.
