Starbucks Introduces New Merch Items for Valentine’s Day

January 9, 2025

Starbucks has introduced a new line of merchandise in honor of Valentine’s Day, and the collection is the perfect gift for all the lovers in your life.

In a press release, the coffee giant revealed that the collection went on sale on Jan. 3. For a limited time, Starbucks locations in the United States offer a variety of tumblers and cold cups with designs of hearts and flowers in shades of pink and red. There are four cups to choose from, and all of them feature the image of pixelated hearts.

Additionally, whether they buy in-person, via the app, or through the drive-thru, customers who bring a clean, personal cup to participating stores in the United States will receive a $0.10 discount on their beverage. Rewards members will receive 25 Bonus Stars. What’s not to adore?

Starbucks Adds New Menu Items

The new cups aren’t the only thing added to the Starbucks menu as of Jan. 3. The cortado, an espresso-based beverage, was also added.

If you’re wondering what a cortado is, it’s a concoction of steamed milk and espresso, specifically ristretto. The beverage, which comes from Spain, will be offered in two varieties: the regular blend and a Brown Sugar Oatmilk version. The latter has brown sugar syrup, heated oat milk, and a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.

Additionally, as Allrecipes said, Starbucks’ Pistachio Latte returns briefly and is sure to please.

This latte is produced with espresso and steamed milk, just like the cortado, except it has a brown-buttery coating and sweet pistachio flavoring on top. This delicious treat is available to customers hot, iced, or as a frappuccino.

For those who want something a little different, the Pistachio Cream Cold Brew has been added to the menu alongside the Pistachio Latte.

Courtney Kassel, the author of Allrecipes, also praised the Spicy Falafel Pocket for being pleasantly tasty and moist, comparing these attributes with other store-bought falafel wraps that she said were frequently dry. Additionally, Kassel noted that Starbucks’ Spicy Falafel Pocket was vegan-friendly, making it a certain favorite for anybody who adhere to this diet.
