States across the nation raising minimum wages in 2019

The National Employment Law Project report, as per USA Today, cites 22 states and D.C. as planning to raise minimum wage requirements in the coming year, possibly affecting 17 million U.S. workers. Additionally, workers in 38 municipalities and counties will benefit from mandated wage hikes.
