Stores drive big same-store gain for Target

Target reported an 8.7 percent increase in same-store sales during the second quarter on top of last year’s 10.9 percent gain. The retailer’s online sales rose 10 percent during the period. Management expects to continue posting high single-digit same-store gains in the last two quarters.
