When it comes to online product searches, Amazon apparently has Google on the run. Cutting into Google's core business, the e-tailer is now the first stop for 55 percent of shoppers researching products, according to a recently released study from BloomReach. That figure is up from 44 percent one year ago. Further, as compared to last year when 34 percent did their first search on search engines, only 27 percent said they did so this year.
