Study: Big-box retail has been a friend to the American worker

Although it is true that jobs at big box retail companies have replaced many higher paying jobs in manufacturing in the last four decades, a new study provides evidence that, overall, big box companies provide higher wages and better advancement opportunities than the alternative — service jobs in food service and daycare.
