Study: Farmers' Markets Cheaper Than Supermarkets

A study sponsored by the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont found that prices charged by supermarkets and farmers' markets were roughly the same for conventional produce. When it came to organics, farmers' markets were nearly 40% cheaper than grocery stores.
