Subway Debuts $6.99 Meal for National Sandwich Day

Subway continues to evolve as a leader in value meals for its customers with the debut of a $6.99 meal just in time for National Sandwich Day, Nov. 3, 2024.
According to a press release, starting on National Sandwich Day and lasting until the final week of December, Subway customers can purchase any chef-crafted or custom 6-inch sub on the menu with a side and a drink, all for $6.99.
Fans can access their $6.99 meal by using promo code 699MEAL on the Subway app and Subway.com. The promo can also be utilized by visiting a Subway restaurant.
Doug Fry, president of Subway North America, said in the press release, “Our guests want value for their dollar, and at Subway, that means offering quality and great flavors at an unbeatable price. The new $6.99 Meal Deal delivers value without compromise for our guests, with unlimited choice, giving them an even more compelling reason to dine at Subway and enjoy a meal that they can feel good about.”
The deal is available at participating U.S. restaurants. The $6.99 Meal includes a 6-inch sub, chips or two regular cookies, and a 20-ounce fountain drink. Add-ons and bottled beverages will cost additional fees, and fountain drinks are not available on delivery. Fees apply on delivery orders, and this special cannot be combined with other offers. The deal expires on Dec. 26, 2024.
Subway Continues To Turn Up the Value and Heat
Earlier this month, Subway introduced a series of sandwiches that turned up the value and the heat for customers. According to a company press release, Subway’s Ghost Pepper Bread is freshly prepared every day in restaurants nationwide by carefully coating Artisan Italian bread dough in ghost pepper, habanero, and paprika-seasoned panko breadcrumbs. It is then topped with Monterey cheddar cheese and jalapeño slices before being baked.
That bread can be used to spice up any of the brand’s traditional sandwiches. It also can cradle the chain’s newest spicy offerings, including the Spicy Nacho Steak and Fiery Meatball. The Spicy Nacho Steak is smothered in creamy cheddar cheese sauce, green peppers, red onion, spicy jalapenos, and SubKrunch, Subway’s new crunchy sandwich topping, and finished with a drizzle of Creamy Sriracha. The meatball sub features pepperoni, meatballs, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, creamy Sriracha sauce, melty Pepper Jack, and parmesan cheese.
Also arriving this month was another one of Subway’s delicious dessert deals. For just $5, Subway customers can purchase a taste of the upcoming holiday season with the new Double Chocolate Peppermint Footlong Cookie. The cookie contains chocolate and white chips swirled with peppermint extract and topped with red and white candy cane pieces, as revealed in a press release announcement.
Subway serves freshly made-to-order sandwiches, wraps, salads, and bowls to millions of guests, across more than 100 countries and territories in nearly 37,000 restaurants each day.
