Survey: Consumers More Optimistic Heading Into Holidays

This time last year, only 28 percent of consumers expected the economy to be better in 2009. This year, 54 percent are looking for things to improve in 2010, according to Deloitte. Fifty-four percent expect to spend more on the holidays this year versus 2008. Only 41 percent answered the same in last year's survey.
