T.J. Maxx parent keeps its focus on stores

TJX Cos., the parent of HomeGoods, Marshalls, T.J. Maxx and other discount chains, is not looking to substantially build its online sales presence, preferring instead to remain focused on driving sales at its 4,500 stores around the world. The retailer had reopened about 85 percent of its stores by June 17.
