T-Mobile Offers a Deal for Baseball Fans
March 26, 2024
T-Mobile is offering a sweet deal just in time for MLB’s opening day: a free year-long subscription to MLB.TV. The company also introduced a Secret Baseball Button. This button is a nifty gadget that lets you discreetly switch between watching baseball and pretending to work, saving you from those dreaded boss “pop-ins.”
This clever contraption syncs with your PC via Bluetooth. Once synced, a simple press of the button transforms your screen from baseball to a professional-looking interface, perfect for fooling any wandering bosses. It’s small, about the size of a button on your blazer or sweater, making it easy to conceal.
To get your hands on this neat little gadget, you can enter for a chance to win until March 31, regardless of whether you’re a T-Mobile customer or not. And don’t worry about missing out on the action — the MLB season starts on Thursday, March 28.
But wait, there’s a catch. You won’t immediately gain access to baseball games once synced. First, you’ll need to grab a free MLB.TV subscription starting March 26 through April 1, available through the T Life app’s T-Mobile Tuesdays.
T-Mobile boasts that this subscription is valued at $149.99, giving you access to a whopping 162 games per team. That’s a whole lot of baseball, even for the die-hard fans. Last year, T-Mobile customers streamed over 52 million hours of MLB.TV.
And if you’re curious about how the button works in action, T-Mobile’s president of marketing, strategy, and products, Mike Katz, along with the CEO, have showcased it in a fun video. Though, we must admit, watching baseball at work might not be suitable for everyone. But hey, who can resist the allure of peanuts and Cracker Jacks at the ballpark?
“T-Mobile customers love baseball,” Katz said in a press release. “So we wanted to do something special this year to ensure they can enjoy their free MLB.TV and all that baseball … with a simple tap of the Secret Baseball Button. And this is just one of the many perks T-Mobile customers get JUST for being customers.”
