Taco Bell files suit to set Taco Tuesdays free

Taco Bell has asked the US Patent and Trademark Office to cancel Taco John’s “Taco Tuesday” trademark after 34 years, claiming it “should be freely available to all who make, sell, eat and celebrate tacos.” Companies now need Taco John’s consent to run Taco Tuesday promotions.
